Workshop on the NIOSH Research Roadmap on Asbestos Fibers and Other Elongated Mineral Particles

The committee reviewed the scientific and technical quality of the roadmap document (link provided below) with a focus on proposed research to clarify the relationship between health effects and physiochemical properties of elongated mineral particles.

The objective of the workshop was to discuss future research directions and identify opportunities to strengthen the roadmap document. Speaker presentations are available.
